Expansion of SUMOCHAM Drill Range

Highlights

The new SUMOCHAM heads are available in 4.0 up to 5.9 mm diameters:
ICP - 4.0-5.9 with 0.1 mm increments
ICM- 5.0-5.9 with 0.1 mm increments
ICK - 5.0, 5.5 & 5.9 mm
The drill bodies are available in 3xD and 5xD length to diameter ratios. The inserts are supplied in a specifically developed user-friendly key, enabling easy mounting with no setup time.

The new SUMOCHAM drill bodies have a straight shank design and are available in 3xD and 5xD length diameter ratios.
They are applicable for head diameters 4.0 up to 9.9 mm with 0.5 mm increments and can be used with ER16 collets.

ICP/ICK/ICM Drilling Head Features

• Made from IC908 TiAlN PVD nano layer coated grade
• High wear resistance
• Stable and predictable wear progression
• IT10 tolerance can be obtained

DCN Drill Features

• High strength steel body
• Internal coolant supply
• Small diameter shank suitable for collet adaptation and Swiss-type machines
• Specifically designed back-end for efficient MQL coolant passage

SK DCN Clamping Key Features

• User-friendly, ergonomic design for easy insert mounting
• Supplied with flexible tube to secure the insert in place
• Once the worn insert is removed, the key and the insert should be discarded
